Day 11
It was such a beautiful day yesterday, so we decided to go to the park. We went to a metro park that has trails and walked one of the 2.5 mile ones. There is a nature center we always stop at, and it's my favorite place in the park I think. There are hand puppets and a place for kids to put on puppet shows, there are enclosures that house a big bluegill, box turtles, a black rat snake, and a frog, tons of literature, a small library, things showing history of the park and the land....there's so much in there. There's also a bird observatory. There are feeders outside and there's a big window where you can just sit, and watch the birds. There's a small pond and when it's warm there are always little frogs hanging out there. I just love it there. The walk was nice too. It was warm, the sun was out and it felt wonderful on my face! It was so nice to get everyone out of the house, enjoy the weather, and get a little bit of exercise.
Day 12
This is a picture of me and my husband, Jack. We had our son snap this at the park yesterday. This is as close to a smile I ever get out of him (for a picture). I love this man. He (and my children) are my life, my world, my soul. My husband works a lot of hours, and works VERY hard to provide for us. He prefers that I stay home so one of us are always there for the kids. He tries his best (usually-LOL) to make sure I'm happy. He puts up with a lot-all the trips to Walgreens or CVS or wherever it is that might have what I want. The ideas of things I'd like to do around the house. The family functions he hates attending. My craziness, and when it hits, my depression. We've been through a lot, and he has always been right there beside me, holding me up. He is truly my best friend.
Wow... he should actually smile! You two are adorable together!
